I just received a cool picture of our boat jumping a cruiser wake. Take a look at my Wifes facial expression. She is standing behind starboard bolster. Believe it or not she likes jumping wakes!

Was that at the Shipyard Run this past weekend?

I was thinking the same thing! Last weekend i noticed a portion of my shorepower cord had worked it's way out. No real way to get a positive lock on that rear section.

VoodooRob 07-31-2013 12:03 PM

Need a solution for that rear hatch, our shore power cord was hanging out and all over the place too. Its odd there is not a latch or lock on that compartment.

What about mounting some big magnets to keep it closed.

I thought about some kind of a gas strut arrangement with an 'over center' mounting bracket. You couldn't flip it all the way over, but that really doesn't matter. Just not sure there is enough room to make it work.

CBlakeNS 08-01-2013 09:19 PM

Nice shot.

Good idea, I will take a look

Very nice shots!! You know that little maneuver would break a lot of lesser boats...great testament to Formula hull integrity!!

Anyway to mount one of the catches they use on the swim ladder hatch? Might not be strong enough, but worth a try.
