242LS Tie Down Gaskets
 

Hi Folks - Under the swim platform of my 88 242LS there are two tie down eyes on both sides of the transom below the waterline. They have gaskets on them. Looks like there are two per side. Does anyone know where I can get replacements gaskets?

Call formula TAG support. Are you sure there not O rings?

I called Formula and they sold me 4 new ones. Does anyone have a side profile picture of the tie down eyes on their 1988 242 or 271? Again these are below the waterline. I need to figure out how they are installed. Plate + gasket + plate etc...

outside transom is gasket - bracket from bottom of swim platform - gasket- eye bolt. just replaced mine too. used a rubber plumbing cap from home depot and made my own. $4.00

I have the four I bought from Formula brand new if someone wants to buy them. Let me know.

Were they leaking or did you just replace them because they were old? I have the same gasket as described on my PC. I never thought of tinkering with them.

They were cracked and dry. I have a new replacement set if you want to buy them...
