Who loves the F206LS
I do!
Posted these pics in another thread about the 242LS, figured I would make a new post for a little discussion on the 206.
Found the boat last spring in WV, pitched the owner a fair cash offer and one week later we were hooking it up to our Flex for the long ride back home (the Flex is a tank with 4,500 pound tow rating with the tow package)
It is a 1990 and had 174 hours on it, kept in a walk out basement from day one. Basically a new boat, had to do a few repairs on it, fuel pump, impeller, bellows, oil change, plugs, and wires but other than that it is a gem.
Upholstery is original, and nothing was ever done to the boat, doesn't even have a compass. The pics were taken the day we got it home, first thing I did was remove the ski mirror
Went to the Detroit boat show today and Scott Porter was at the Formula display, took a minute to talk about the 206 and mentioned the tour the factory offers, real nice guy.

BEAUTIFUL RIDE!!!!!!
Congratulations
You should enjoy many seaons of use. It'll turn heads where ever it goes.
I too have an F206 LS, 1988. It's white with teal and white/teal/black interior.
All stock with the original 350 MAG engine.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get it back in the water for a couple seasons now. Just needs maintenance, tires for the trailer, and a good cleaning it'll be ready to run.

WOW....You've definately found a GEM, nice rare find. Looks as if it just rolled off the production line. Look at that...Not even a rust mark on transom from the swim platform bolts.
Enjoy...and treat her with the same respect she's been given for the first 24 years of her life.

Seriously, how friggin stupid do you have to be to do that? having the cover come half way down the hull does nothing for protection and you could have just as easily put the snaps on the bottom of the rub rail. Although it was done when the boat was new, still drives me nuts.
