3 Attachment(s)
Decided to sell my 272 sr1 , what could be a fair price to sell it ( not asking price) with bravo drives twin BB's (330's) , stainless marine exhaust with long risers custom made( 1 year old), running great. Great condition overall.
Will be up on Oso classifieds ASAP.

A quick survey of price references (NADA & BUC) indicate that it could be worth around $17K

But,

Asking prices around the country for same/similar year 272's range from $27K down to $20K. Usually, boats sell from the bottom of the asking price range. So, if you can get $18-19K for it, I'd take it.

Biggest factor is the age of the boat, so a knowledgeable buyer will be checking the structure for moisture, etc.

If you get 19 for it you owe me dinner lol. It all depends on how fast you want to sell it. Remember to put in the ad it has the "rare Newport #1" color option!

LIl red knows what condition the boat is , he had an ocean run from Haulover inlet to South Beach last year , dont want to give it away but i would be willing to take less than that just to sell fast , need to get the 330 SS and i saw a really nice one last week that i would love to get...

seeing the care of this boat for the last cpl years my guess is 16/17 gets it gone, I'd say ask 20/21 unless you really want it gone then ask what you need and cut out the BS, only variable I am unsure about is if your area has an effect on price either pos or neg, GLWS

I would let it go for $16k i will probably list it at $16500 just to move it . Dont want to bother with back and forth negotiations ,

Sounds just like when you bought it! No bs here's the price hope it works for you!
This is a great all around boat. Before I sold it to Diego I did a lot of work to it with a friend of mine.(he actually did as much if not more than me) Diego picked up where I left off, cleaned up the cosmetics, added a very nice exhaust system, and has had a great time with the boat. This boat is as solid as they come. I fixed the only spots that needed attention. I think it was me though, because when I ran it from haulover to government cut I had to fix the speedo hose lol.
This boat handles any water you'd feel comfortable having guests out in just fine, yet is very easy to dock, trailer or rack store. If anyone has any questions about the boat feel free to email me [email protected].

I think it`s a great looking boat, good luck with the sale.

out of the two months of monitoring cl in my area most of them are listed at 18-20k but I think 16 would be a good selling price. I would consider it if i didn't live 1,324 miles away lol

Diego drove that far to get it!

When I went to get it, I invited a couple of friends to come with me and it was a great trip, I would do it anytime, my friend Pablo, who lives here in miami bought his 357 in Indiana, 4 month ago, boat is here in miami now... No big deal.

I can attest to the fact that Diego takes care of this 272 like it's a member of his family. He starts it a minimum of once a week on the hose whether he takes it out or not. Every time he takes it out he flushes both engines, washes it down and sprays everything metallic down with Marine CRC.

Hell if my recent circumstances weren't as they are and I wasn't sack deep in my 255 ...I would by it...hell...I find it very tempting anyway because of how much time I have spent on it and knowing it's history.

Diego is making this choice to move to a 330 only to have a larger platform to accommodate his family....he really does like the 272 a lot.

So if anyone is looking for a clean, turn key performance boat in this price rage....consider a trip to Miami to take a look and ride this one...it is exceptional to say the least.

Diego9040 03-13-2014 10:31 PM

It is up for sale :

Get a trailer and go get it! About 200 - 250 gallons of fuel? Hell, go boating on it while down there and make it worth while since we are still in snow. And more forecasted next week......

His selling price is depressing the hell out of me. Except it is not old enough for, I love flat glass!

Unlimited jd 03-14-2014 06:52 PM

He has a trailer....

Oh alright deposit you shouldn't have to worry about I thought he was paying in full through paypal

Crude Intentions 03-17-2014 12:57 PM

Diego still be weary unless the guy is well known on here. To me PayPal is good for small purchases. A major boat purchase shouldn't involve PayPal. Cash or cashiers check. If cash have it all checked at the bank first.

Diego9040 03-17-2014 01:54 PM

Buyer is planning to fly down do sea trial and then pay someone to tow it back home. We'll see how it goes...

Crude Intentions 03-17-2014 02:43 PM

Good luck Diego.

well that didn't take long at all congrats on the sale!

VoodooRob 03-19-2014 01:26 PM

Wow fast sale! Don't let the thrill of the sale get in the way during pick-up, accept cash or wire transfer only at that time. Too many shady Paypal transactions out there. Seen a few first hand with ugly results.

I found a 1997 that I like a lot with 454 LX motors 500 hs one owner, no bottom paint, but I still need to sell a couple of engines to make the move... I would love to find one with 496's though, so I don't miss the speed that much. Hahahahaha . Any 330 ss with 496's out there??? Don't mind long distances, been there than that, love road trips...

Mr Maine 04-06-2014 05:07 PM
