Twin 350's
New transom
Updated interior with new gauges
bolster seats
Owner says 200 hours on the motors
The cuddy cabin is completely torn so no cushions and headliner.
No stereo
owner was asking $13,000 but will take $9,000 for it.

Not sure about that boat without seeing it but a 242 with twin small blocks is a great package. I never understood why they stopped offering it. A single big block is really nice in a 242 also, but I have always liked the twins.

Isn't this someone's boat on here? I know I have seen it before, maybe it was on CL. I thought Glass Dave did the windscreen on it....maybe I'm loosing it.

Either way, sweet setup. Price seems reasonable. Cuddly shouldn't be to hard to finish, and you could take your time if you aren't using the sleeper often.

Yes it was someones boat on here but he sold it to someone and now he is selling it. I don't think its been on CL. and yes Glass Dave did some work on it.

and that's what I was worried about is resale value but getting it at 9g sounds good right?

The deal at 9k seems in your favor

That is a really nice looking 242. Since the transom had to be redone in would have the stringers checked. If it is "dry" and the motors pass a compression and leak down test, I don't think you could go wrong for $9,000.

Did you buy it? I paid 11,700 last year for my single big block 242LS with a really nice Phoenix trailer. From a forum member and in great shape.

No I didn't buy it the motors were not winterized right and had water in the oil

Wow, good find on the motors. That would have stunk to get that. Of course you could get it as a project for less .....
