looking for info on a t-2000 cat
 

dragged another project into the shop, a 1969 T-2000, IO cat , anyone ever deal with one of these ? this one had a dana stern drive . some came with mercruiser packages , looking for any pictures , how they ran ? , any with big power ? history on why they stopped building them ? thanks

I ran on the Suwanee river for 20+ miles with one at a scream and fly event. It was beautifully restored, same color combo as the brochure, I think he had 560 hp big block with a bravo. VERY cool boat, I've never seen another. I was in our vintage Critchfield MOD-VP boat which runs low to mid 80's, he had substantial top speed on me, I'd guess low to mid 90's. I'm not sure his name or where he was from, but you may be able to find him on S&F. COOL boat
