That looks like crap. It ogives along with the saying pay for what you get. Though, that's not even worth the 1700. Maybe a grand considering it's 3k+ for good work.

The wrinkles will not come out, if you notice the vinyl walked on one side and is not in alignment. He probably used his wife's machine either rushed the job or needed to use a walking foot machine to help keep in alignment.

Could have been worse, could have paid more! Good luck either way,

My local place completely ganked my back seat, but at least mine was only 400.... Had a diamond pattern inset, how, when you have the both pieces of the seat, do you get the inset off by 5 inches between the bottom and back???

There is no way that is 3 grand worth of work done right. I have had lots of top quality interior work done and would expect to pay around 1500 in this area for a good job on that seat.

To the OP you and I are only one state away from each other. If you need a recommendation for somebody who could do good interior work let me know.

are you kidding me? dont buy a new seat. Grab a buddy and go down to the guys shop and get your damn seat back.. You guys are all sounding far too kind for this kind of behavior. That wouldnt fly with me.

Call Guido. He can fix your problem for less than $1700 and get your seat back.

I don't think that seat looks like what I would accept for vinyl work, I think it is terrible.

To bad it is at this point to learn but Formula has that seat skin already put together that you can buy and put on or have it put on at a small fraction of this $1,700 rip off. As some said you could find a bad seat and get the Formula skins and have a brand new looking part for the same money.

I delt with a gouger like this once on my first boat. When I asked all the questions that an atty told me he needed info for the guy decided he didn't want any legal probs. I didn't like the outcome but I did get a resolution quick and I was on my way.

Best of luck getting your bird back on the water and definitely show this guys work all over!!!!!
