So 40 is the new 100? No old fart chit here, just prefer the performance style boating, done right it is virtually painless. 300 hours here and not a fart.
P.S. Term is Vdrives, inboards are straight shaft. No can do with an aft. Not trying to be a smart azz, just a decade of selling like craft. And a FYI for ya here, the pocket/tunnel drive design goes back three or four decades in the Sea Ray Sport Cruiser and Sport Yatch lines. PenYan had it almost 50 years ago.

Haha, lol. Yea, a couple of nights now.
Somewhat overwhelmed lately with many changes in life. Between getting this boat here and livable, moving into another home, and work, it has been quite a challenge to manage it all.
The boat is pretty awesome. Things are coming together, but we are still working thru some issues.
I knew it had a few things that needed attention, but several other little gremlins have popped up, so the fun upgrades haven't been completed yet. I came to the realization last weekend that it took me 5-7 years to get my 353 "dialed in" and all of the upgrades done, but still managed to enjoy it for nearly 10 years. Need to be a realist with this one, that it won't be as perfect and move on. Thanks for asking! Here are a few shots from the town dock.
As far as performance, this thing is heavy, but goes pretty good! I took it for a blast the other day, and hit the performance numbers almost spot on. It cruises at 29mph at 3550 RPMS, and WOT it goes 39.7 mph at 4550 RPMS. Right by the book!

Well things were pretty quiet today, stopped in at HBW around 5 PM today and things looked like a ghost town. Chilli'n the next was resting in it's slip, no Axa or the Mrs to be found.
Only good thing I could see was that the Carver stinkpot that was next to my slip was missing, hopefully tossed out, but none the less not there.
