Looking for 292

I'm looking for a 292 FasTech with 6.2L. I'm in the Chicago area. Has anybody ran one of these on Lake Michigan?

great choice, some will say there to small, but not everyone wants or can afford a 38, expect 70 with that power but not much more, and I am sure it will handle just fine, again dont expect to go out in 5 fters, but will u make it home without getting your arse handed to you, yes, well unless u drive it like a knuckle head

Have one. Been on Michigan a few times with it. Most of our boating is on the chain. We took it to LOTO last year and I feel comfortable with it anywhere. Like most will say bigger is always better but you can't beat the quality, features, economy of small blocks, bravos that will never break, and for us the ability to trailer it anywhere. The only flaw with them is the lack of hydrolic steering.

Was also going to post this houston craigslist boat. Most likely used on lk. Conroe (fresh water use) if interested may want to check with conroe group from oso. Good luck. I also like the hours.
