What's not to like.....awesome boat.

they are a great boat, better balanced then the 272, try and get one with mags or 502's, do not buy one for the enclosed head its nothing more then a life jacket compartment, unless u have little ones, they are timeless and that whole sr1 era has a following, they pretty much have bottomed unless u trash it, so find a clean one keep it for a few years and you won't lose your a## someone will always want one so selling one isn't that hard, I came close to a 502 powered boat a few years back but opted for my 303,

Had a 1991 292, 502's, Bravo's, bought it with 500 hours, sold it 4 years later with 800+ hours for same price that I paid for it. Boat ran great, handled bigger water good, just a little cramped for over night trips, which was most every weekend. Can't go wrong with one. Even with high hours, boat still ran low 70's any day with just 2 of us. Was lucky enough to purchase mine from original owner, had all books and diagrams, even decanters behind sink. Most people didn't believe it was a 91 when they saw it.
