VERY CLEAN!!
I love the install. Did you make the LED rings or buy them? |
I made them out of 1/2" acrylic... Pretty easy to do with a good plunge router and a circle jig.
|
Where'd you get your RGB LED's?
|
Amazon, like $15 for a 5 meter strip, I think I used 2 or 3...

Thanks. I saw Frisco Jay make his own too. I have the circle jig for my router. I might do the same. It really is sweet!

As far at the cone goes they were still in good shape. Provided I don't blow these speakers I would think I should get 5-7 years. Hopefully at that point the boat will be sold and I'll be on to something bigger.

Does it mount right to the mirror? Is it thru bolted or lags? My boat never had one so I just want to do it the way it should be. Thanks
|
I drilled a few holes in the mirror and screwed it to the wall behind. I put some rubber bushings between the mount and the mirror... so far so good. I think I have literally turned that tv on 2-3 times since I installed it, but it looks cool.
