I've run 73/4 a couple of times light on the right water tapping the limiters with appropriate trim

tough to break 70 and 4900 most days with a load

yesterday 2 adults 4 kids/teens, 3/4 plus fuel and just a chitload of stuff stuffed in this boat for the day and the long term. Boat's been in the water 3 weeks.
Oh and 10 gals of water in it too...

into a light quartering wind I had to drag a tab for...67 ~4750

take that as a guide (but it plays out) I don't really trust analog tachs to be THAT accurate on anything.

This is with 26" Bravos not 28's.
28s are just too much with real-world loads. Night and day better everywhere with 26's other than I theoretically loose a couple top though you better have a mile to find them with 28's
In my experience (12 years with this boat) a load against 28's you may never get "on the power" to find that 2MPH.
4600 loaded against 28's 425 not making power there. Need a couple more

Who cares about maybe, some days a couple MPH or a little cruise economy, the boat is so much more drivable and enjoyable everywhere else it's ridiculous.

It planes much easier, it actually midrange accelerates, stays bit down to 3K / mid thirty speed with NO fuss as long as you don't upset it too much.
