242 Amchor Placement
 

I have a quick question for the 242 owners, does anyone have some sort of Anchor holder on the bow of the boat?

no, kept mine in the engine compartment in the two plastic compartments

The only anchor holder on the bow is the guy that lugged it up there and is getting ready to throw it. it's more of a temporary holder.

You are talking about an anchor roller? Possible, but then you will need to make a hatch or something to store the rode below.

I made my own custom anchor locker for my 242. So, much easier than schlepping the anchor forward. Prior to that I stored it in the ski locker

Tpenfield do you have any pics of the anchor locker you made?

T- are you the one who cut the bow open and put a locker in I loved that.
