Brought the fourth bird home.
 

Made the trip to Michigan and got the 419. Since we were so close to Erie on the way home we decided to take a few days and run to Put in Bay, Kelleys island and other places on the lake. We had such a great time that we definitely have to do it all again sometime.

I need to replace the shift cable on the starboard drive. It is working now but I can feel it dragging so it needs replaced before it breaks. I have impellers coming for the generator. That is one fly in the ointment that really shocked me. My all American boat is not all American!!! This "Kohler" what I thought was an American generator has a honda engine!!!!!!! :picard1::eekdrop::poopoo: . I thought Kohler was American but I see they do the bastardizing that many company's do using foreign power for their products. I wonder if I went Westebeke if I could get all American products?

Anyway the boat ran great and we stayed on it for three days at Put in Bay and had a blast. Docking was a breeze compared to the TRS drives I had on the 357. I can spin this big long boat on a dime with these out spin Bravos.

I'm thinking to change the black dash, paint scheme and a few other updates but one thing at a time for now and the one thing I am up for now is boating!
If my impellers come in this week I plan to hit Lanier Friday night.

Yea, my lake house lol.
I decided to go this direction instead of a lake house. The lake house just seems so stuck in one place and I want to hit different waters so this seemed the way for me.

I can't post pics here so I will have to link them. Let me get that fixed up.

Ok, try this again. I opened it up in a secure domain and it works so it should work for everyone now.

The prevailing name at the moment is "THREE of a KIND" which takes into consideration the engines and family female count.

Now they opened, pretty sweet! We always wanted to boat that area just haven't made it yet, I assume that was during the week?

Oh yea during the week. There are advantages to access during the week that the weekend volumes just can't support. Also docking is easier during the week.
I'm sure it is good any time but we very much enjoyed our week visit.

Put in Bay and Kelleys island are great. There are lots of things to do with the family and the islands are beautiful. The park and dock arrangement at Put in Bay are awesome; we loved it and want to do it again. I highly recommend it.
