As the saying goes "a day late and a dollar short"

I called On this one yesterday as soon as I saw it listed. I was second in line behind a local guy who brought cash to the table. Seasons almost over but I'm still looking.

might have been worth bottom paint removal

I think even after removing the bottom paint and buying a trailer, you would still be ahead.

That was a steal for sure.

Yup, price makes a boat move . Someone got a nice deal.

Yeah I saw that right after I bought my 336 and couldn't believe the price.

I get nervous though when something is TOOOO cheap.

I had somewhat of a same experience - For months I looked at this particular marina website for a particular brand, motor, color, options etc., - We were on vacation and I checked the website daily. Low and behold a perfect match boat comes up for sale. I immediately emailed the marina- and I missed the sale by about 2 hours.

When we got back in the states - almost a month later - I called the marina and said ok - I'm sending you a deposit check - the next one that comes in with close to this list - here's the deposit - if I loose it - I don't care- I'm not letting another one go by. The salesperson at the marina told me that the person that bought that particular boat wanted to sell it. My first question was - what did he do to the boat in only a few weeks -- Turns out that he recently got married and now had a blended family with 3-4 teenagers. He thought that a boat would be a good chance for everyone to bond....Also, the owner never boated a day in his life. I called the owner up and got to see the boat - offered him a much lower price than what he paid - since he was making payments - he jumped on it.

We have been happy with the boat ever since.

Moral of the story--
a) Don't get too down - there are a lot of boats out there and who knows- this one may be in your slip soon!!
b) If you pay cash you have a number of good options in purchasing a boat

A day late and a dollar short is the story of my life but I will be glad to let you take over the story. lol
I have one of those stories too but it was not as innocent. All things said and done I'm glad I got screwed over because where I am at now worked out better than the lost deal; it will all work out well.
Good luck and keep searching. This is a good time to get one.
