With 330s you should be looking for 40-45mph cruise at about 3500 rpms. Expect low 60s for top end if you have Bravo drives

Been a while since I upgraded, but that sounds about right. Cruise speed and planning were the best benefits with the hydros

Formula, I have a 1990 311. Came with 330's and 22p bravo's. Went low 60's. Upgraded to 502 MPI's and threw on a pair of used 24p bravos's. The thing porpoises like a banshee and I only get about 66. I've been told to go with the Hydromotives for more stern lift and that my 24p Bravo's could be bad. Thoughts?

Have you tried a 25 Mirage?

I've had two 311s and if you are turning your props out like it came from the factory, I found that 4 blades picked the back end up a little to much and made them bow steer. Your X dimension is low enough that you shouldn't need a 4 blade. Both of mine came with 23s and I changed them to Lab 25s. Sorry it's been a long time time, but if I remember right my 1988 with 330s ran 66 at 4800 rpm. They both had 1.5 Bravos. If you want to run 4 blades, you might want to try turning them in.

Have you tried both? On my hull which is pretty similar the Plusses were MUCH better than the standard Mirage, not as good as the Rev4's though.
Standard Mirage for me blew out very easily getting on plane and cruise speed sucked
