? New Formula Flex Program
 

Sitting at work on a Friday and thinking. Since everyone seems to like the paint schemes from the late 80s SR1s. With Formula's new Flex Program, would anyone consider getting a new Fastech, but choose a late 80's color scheme. I wonder how that would look. Just a thought

I think the Stiletto Platinum is similar to some of the late 80s SR1s?

Nope. I would take the Stiletto or Cyber Ice any day over flexing to the old.

I like the newer schemes a lot better. I don't think the old schemes follow the lines of the newer boats

You have a beautiful and awesome looking 382......I did "use" that photo from your sale ad. It must be tough to think about selling such a great boat.

Thanks Baja Bigdog. I have always loved the 382, but it does not seat enough people. We houseboat on Lake Powell about 4 weeks each summer and invite 20-24 friends and family on the trips. I am looking at a 350 CBR or something similar.

That makes sense.....the Fastech models are tight for more than 4 or 5 people. I have always had a love of Formula boats and can see the draw to the more "practical" models......I can see where you could seat a ton of people on a 350 CBR.

Yes that is me. The Silver Shadow 382 with Ilmors you see after the video you sent is over (lower left corner) is my son in law on our old 382. I will definitely miss the Ilmors too!

Oh wow.....so you have two 382's with Ilmor 725's in the family. Sounds like you will be able to enjoy your old 382 even after you sell your new one. The Ilmors look to be a really nice package from what I have seen....just staring at (or drooling on) the engines would be enjoyable for me. :D

Have you looked at the 400 FX? This model is more of a cross between a Fastech and a cruiser.....check out that helm with the Livorsi monster gauges and Livorsi controls, not to mention the red carbon fiber dash panels..... You could fit lots of people and have a party down below !!

I am just wanting a boat to take a bunch of people out around the lake during the day. We have the sister ship to the above link being delivered to Lake Powell, it should be here in a couple weeks. I have plenty of room to sleep, just need a way go move a lot of people around the lake. An open bow should be perfect.
