Engine Compartment Fender Storage on a 272
 

Hi - is there room to store 4 10"x25" fenders in the engine compartment of a 272 running a smallblock v8? If so, what is the best way to do this? Assuming there is room, is the best approach to install fender holder in the hatch? Are their better or alternative ways? Also, if 10"x25" won't fit, will a size fit that offers good protection?

I had a 272 with big blocks. No way could you do that. The small blocks have a little more room, but I would say no without getting really creative.

Are their creative ideas others have stumbled upon for efficient fender storage? I could live the big fenders @ the dock and get smaller ones to travel with, but the more space saved the more the boat is compromised.
