Last year we tried a new format which everyone seemed to enjoy in addition to raising money for a very good cause. This year we will again push the limits to think of creative ways to promote the FOONJ lifestyle. We are currently brainstorming and coming up with new ideas we are sure you all will enjoy immensely. What makes or breaks putting your boat on the trailer or taking a little bit of a cruise to join us at one of our events?

We want to bring people out from behind their computer screens or phones. We have a great rapport with many here on OSO, some local some not. We know your screen name but we'd like to put a face to the name. Every summer IDCE and I discuss about where we want to go and what areas we want to explore in hopes to meet other Formula owners in the process. We've towed down to Florida just to extend our boating season and had hopes of rendezvousing with other Formula owners from the SWFL area. Even doing the same this year. Even though we are Formula Owners of NJ, our events are always open to all Formula owners from anywhere. We started out with raftups, but weather became too tough to predict or control. We've done big dinners since people have to eat and drink and why not come by boat. Last year we gave a little back to help a family in a tough situation and found a safe and secure location at a marina for everyone's boats. We appreciate everyone's feedback about our events and try to cater to what the our fellow Formula owners want and what we think will draw the Formula owners out. So lets here it, what can we do that will make you load your Formula on a trailer, if you have one, and attend one of our events?

My wife and I would love to attend an event, hopefully this year but definitely next year. Right now my current obstacles is the trailer and my engine. The engine will be good by next weekend (crosses fingers) and hoping for a new trailer by the end of the month if a couple deals i have going on go through. The Formula community is one of the best I've ever encountered and I hope to one day hang with everyone that I speak with on OSO.
