242 and Hydramotive Quad IV prop Questions??
 
Does anybody have any experience with the Quad IV prop on a Formula 242?

I have a 90 242 ss aand would love to know how that prop works. Bravo 22 p has been great but I hear the Hydromotive has better bow lift. Best of luck with your testing.

No. Hydro is a stern lifting prop.

This is what I understand also. Most 242 users like the Bravo 1. I am seeking info on Quad IV as I am working a possible deal on one and looking for experiences.

Not sure how it applies to a Formula but on a Velocity it (Hydro quad 4) is considered stern lifting.

i put them on my 272 and it was the best overall prop

I run a labbed Rev 4 21p and it works great. And actually a 21p turning point that works well too. Get a few more mph out of the labbed rev 4. 65 mph at 5100rpm about 450HP. Turning point is 62mph at 4900rpm

+1 for the Rev 4. I run a stock 23p and get 63 mph @ 5000rpm with the 496HO.
