How do you like to run your 312
 

Been messing around with tabs and drives when cruising Norris Lake in TN. Seems that a nice ride is about 2 on the tabs and 3 on the drives.. Anyone else have thoughts on how they like to run their 312 Fastechs? I run 5 blade hydromotive 29p's , 454 mag MPI s with Off shore exhaust Aeromotive fuel pumps, Vorteh Breathers, fuel rails re worked by Eddie Young and ECU tweaked a little.

Like I stole it....... well because I did in a way. Lol Below is a vid if when I took my Pop's 6.2 312 for fuel before a Rendezvous run we were making with the boats. Truth of the matter is it is a feeling, in the waters I boat there is always an adjustment that needs to be made at different times during the cruise. We have a lot of boat traffic, winds, chop, etc that you always have to adjust for. I do not think you can choose a number like a sleep number mattress. You have to feel your boat and tune the ride for the condition at hand to get the performance you want at that time.

Tabs all the way up. Drives on around 5ish. It moves on like it should. Its very loose at those settings so be on your A game.

i'm still learning mine as well, 312 with 502's, normally down 2 clicks on the tabs and up 2-3 on the drives, gives me the best ride.
