New 27 SR1 Owner
 

I recently purchased a 502 Mag, 27' 1995 SR1 and really like the boat so far. It running a 21p Mirage currently running around 60 at 5k. Anyone running a 23p Mirage+ or something else on these to get some more top end?
Going to be pulling off the silent thunder too, hopefully that will help it breathe...

We love pics! I had a 93 with a 502 as well, same numbers as you, 21p, 60mph and 5000 rpm, Yours being a 95 I'm assuming its a fuel injection, and you should have a extra mph or two

Yea, I'm assuming that the 23P Mirage+ will bring down the RPMs, into a less than 5k realm, and pop up the top speed mph maybe 63-64?

I don't think the 4 blade would be any better. Seems like the Mirage+ are hard to beat...

Maybe, IMO with that motor you will not wanna be much less then 4800 for maximum performance, 23+ may drag it down more then u really want, but find one to borrow and see, a 4 blade will bring your cruise up but definitely hurt the top, depends on how often you like to pinnit

Not really looking to pin it all the time, but good to know that I have the best prop on there when I want to...
Maybe a none 23P might work well. I haven't heard from any other owners with the same setup...

Planning on doing a wrap on the sides this fall...

I have a 271 92 model with 2009 496 HO and Bravo1xr, No Silent Thunder Box ( bottom Paint)

Best I have seen so far is 62 mph gps, with a standard Mirage 23+

I have a Bravo1 24 (tweeked a litle bit) best result 61 mph gps

I had a goal 63 mph, but not there yet.

Very happy with the boat :-)

That looks very nice Monaco20...I am hoping to get out 1 or 2 more times before season ends. I have a line on a labbed 23 Mirage, might try that.
