Information needed on a Formula 312
 

Hello All,

I am starting my search for a 312 and have come across 2. One looks like it is located in Branford, Connecticut named: Bad Influence. Does anyone have any insider information about this boat?

Yeah that damn salt. Although it is a formula that looks lift kept. Might be a ****load of hours though. Good luck. I want one too btw.

I dig the dixie cup looking one, but thats because thats the same graphics mine have. The prices all seem pretty high on these, but what do I know.

The one in MI looks to have been a salt water boat at one time

Look at a 353, there are some in the same price range.

The only cheaper 353 has 1000 hours on it.

agreed I saw that one with 1000 hrs, maybe time for rebuild.

There was one in Grand Haven Mi, another in Loto. I got mine from OH cheaper than any of the 312's out there (except for the POS on eBay). Mine saw salt though, was 10k cheaper than the 312 in CT.

The Branford CT boat submerged and was bought out by insurance company...

probably not a good boat to pickup :(

I understand the MPI motors but why would it have B II drives???

The 312 in CT is currently on EBAY. Bid was around 16K yesterday.Used car dealer has it............................Buyer Beware!

Call and get hull number from dealer. Then call Formula, us e the Vintage Formula number they give on their website. They have 3 guys that do nothing all day but give out info on the older boats. Where it was sold and when. Warranty info and any work performed by dealers. And any other owners if they called and registered the boat when they purchased it used.

I got the complete history, talked to two of the past three owners yesterday on a 353 in Grand Haven
