Silent Thunder swim platform
I searched the archives without success so I'm posting a new thread.
I'm about to remove my swim platform (1987 Formula 206) and wondering if there is anything special I need to know to avoid causing damage. Seems like it is held on by a couple L-shaped brackets and two large U-loop tie-downs. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It’s pretty easy, but you’ll need a couple of people to do it. There should be u-bolts on the top, and another set on the bottom corners, and then a couple of bolts on the bottom on either side of the drive (this is the way it was on my 242).
Undo everything but leave the nuts attached on the top (to keep it from falling during prying). It’ll probably be a mother to get off. There is a seal that needs to be broken, and the u-bolts typically stick. Careful use of a pry bar will help.
I’d recommend having two extra guys for the job.
