Bolster seat question

Hey, I'm buying a 91 311 but the bolster seats don't stay in the sitting position. How hard is it to fix that?

I have a 1991 272 SR1. The seals in the cylinders leak and they drift down when weight is on the seat. During the off season, remove the cylinders, and send them to Crane Areospace (818.526.2425) to have them rebuilt. I have mine done winter of 2015 for ~$120.00 each. The person I dealt with was Maurice Stephens 818.526.2605 or [email protected]

These seats just won't stay up at all. I have to manually lift them up to the sitting position and then they pretty much just fall down. There is no drifting down over time. Is this the same problem?

Check the actuator to see if it is even connected

When I first got mine the button would stick allowing the bolster to drop but it would always come back up. I had to spray the button. But I don't think that's your problem if it falls without weight.
