Led bulbs for courtesy lights

Wanting to change out my clear bulbs in the engine bay as well as the courtesy lights on the floor of my 382 with blue bulbs. I think the bulbs in the engine bay are G4's and the floor I think are different. Has anyone done this and know what I need to complete this small upgrade/ A source for the bulbs would be helpful as well.

Thanks in advance

Mike

I had very good luck searching on Amazon for G4 base LEDs. If you are size constrained then check the dimensions as there are many offerings. The coolest parts was I got a box of ten for about $15 total.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the information. The bulbs in the engine compartment have two prongs (G4) but I did not pull the ones near the floor in the cock pit. I am sure they are different but that is a pure guess. Do you know?

I found bulbs for the cabin, courtesy, gauges on Amazon - probably spent less than $50 for every bulb in the boat.

What color did you go with. I am going blue in the engine compartment as well as courtesy lights! Gauges I am curious what you went with?

Hello Mike;

I used the KINGSO lights shown above and they are white only. But I'm certain you can find other colors. Good Luck.

Thanks

New issue...I did find that the two DSRAM 5008 swithable spotlightes did NOT work with new LEDs. Turns out the polarity was reversed and since the 5008 bulbs can only go in one way, I had to switch the wires going into the light socket. Works 100% now!
