Yes, I found the vacuum faster than electric and not limited to heating the oil.

Except consider that heating the oil, even a little helps suspend oil contaminates in the extracted oil. That's why some manufacturers provide drain hoses that are accessible through your lower bilge drain plugs. You are way better off heating the oil if you are sucking it out the dipstick, regardless how you suck it out. And draining it out the oil pan it is always better than sucking it out a dipstick.
