311 Toilet How to Use

We have owned our 311 for 11 years and never once used the toilet. Does anyone have any first hand experience in how to use/maintain the original toilet in our sr1's? We would like to start using it this year and I have absolutely no clue how to go about it.

Thanks

First time out this year and inspected the toilet a little further. Seems like these are just porta toilets mounted on a larger holding tank. No water running to them very simple. Has anyone upgraded the toilet in their late 80's model sr1 to something with water running to it that has more of a flushing operation?

Thanks! That is of some help. I think we are just gonna flush it with a cup of water rather than constantly refilling the reservoir. Does anyone know the size of holding tank a 311 has?

I would assume that the reason that you have never used the toilet in your 311 is that you are more than 4 feet tall. :D

At the FBO we used to call it a "slosh bucket". You have to remove the base by hand and carry it to be dumped and then refill with solution.

311's have a much larger holding tank below the potty. Would really like to know how big they are, going to get it pumped out tomorrow but kinda need to know how much water to put back in it.

The space is really tight, so remember to spread your cheeks wide if you are laying a deuce :)
