Default Blower on a 350?

Will a weiand 142 blower snout clear the t-Stat housing on a,350 engine? Do they make a spacer to lift the blower to clear?

No replacement for displacement. I'm not being mean. Do a little searching and you'll find how many people have tried to make a small block push these boats to a higher speed. Just isnt worth it. Best bet is to find a good deal on a complete bravo drive and transom assembly. Put a big block in it that makes over 400hp. My 425hp 476 pushed mine mid 60s. That engine cost about 4k to build. You'll spend well over that just putting a super charger on that small block and may make 350 hp.

Again, no insult at all. Just food for thought.

If that pic is of your actual engine - unless you have a boat that you are totally attached to, deal the boat and put whatever $$$ you were thinking of spending on a blower/ tinkering to get it to work into a boat that will run the numbers that you want.. you will save yourself the headache, down time / more work in drive conversions after blowing the alpha right off the transom and still have reliability.

Even if you went through all the experimentation, sooner than later you will buy the bigger powered factory boat anyways - My $0.02

Ok, does anyone know how to make the blower snout clear the t-Stat housing on a small block.

yes, I really do like this boat, took me a while to finda clean one, they are pretty limited around here. Yes, a BB/Bravo would be great.

pretty sure they used to offer a marine kit...so check with them to see if they still offer their thermostat housing that was part of that kit.

They make blower spacers or you could use an intercooler?
