I did mine last year. there are some very bright but very expensive choices out there. You can spend well over $1000 on a single light if you want the brightest. I went for the brightest, most dependable I could install for under $800 total. I have a video of them on in the water but do not know how to attach a short video. 3 transom lights in RGB so many color choices in the same light, control with a phone app. https://boatpluglight.myshopify.com/...-transom-mount https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2a938f876.jpeg

I used the same lights as voodoo. Great lights for the price.

I just bought a pair of the boatpluglight Electra drain plug lights and was testing one out on the bench with the optional remote last night. Nearly blinded myself!

Be careful with these lights. I am starting to think you get what you pay for and these are not good. I installed two on our Formula. I got one season out of one and a season and a half out of the other. They are on a PC and are in the water all summer in lake Erie but they are currently completely corroded up and not working. Website says lifetime warranty, I emailed them and received no reply. Mine were the ones that mounted on the trim tabs.i have a buddy that put them on a Searay and he too only got a season and a half before they quit working.

My buddy installed the ones in the pic above.

Check these out...I haven't seen mine in the water yet but I can tell you I had the dual pod drain plug led light year and out of the water one of these on out of the water and you couldn't even tell that drain plug light was on...very very bright!! not the prettiest thing but I didn't care as they will be underwater anyway lol

I have no issues and no problems with corrosion. Maybe where you keep your boat in the water there are stray currents attacking? I wouldnt mount any lights to trim tabs, transom is a much better solid choice.

Great feedback. I really like the RGB idea. Thank you all.

I've always been partial to the Lumitec seablaze.

Got my two 8,000 lumen Electras wired in. This is just one.
