FasTec ladders
My OEM ladder was bent, and now barely slides/folds. Formula wants an absolute stupid amount of money for the ladder.
What's everyone else doing? Can this be mounted under the swim platform? Do any of these boats have ladders that don't suck? thanks! |
That might fit.... may have to get the factory one or find out who makes them for Formula and buy direct???? Good luck.

I had the company that made it fix it for me.

I know the guy that does all the SS bow rails for Formula, not sure if he does the ladders. I will check for you. Also i took mine off the day I got the boat because it was just in the way with Ex Boxes, it hit the tie bar. Took a deposit on the boat last night, maybe he would consider selling, I told him it goes with the boat. Let me see what I can do to help.

thanks! it's like they built the boat and forgot people like to actually swim.
Mine hits the tie bar if the drives are up (shallow water) or hits the props if the drives are up... I wonder if there are any that would mount under the swim platform that would work... or even above. I'd rather have a well functioning ladder than the 'clean' look at the back. For example: mount this under the swim deck? https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=1855125 |
Mine is an after market mounted under. I like it more than the ones I've seen that come on them.

It is similar to the one you posted from amazon. It's not mounted exactly like that one though. I may order one of those to replace mine.

Raise your drive all the way to the top to verify you have clearance if you go with an undermount. I was going that way with my 280SS, but when I put drive showers on I found they would hit it.
Get a price on the formula ladder thru Formula Boats of Missouri, they offer better pricing than going direct. |
Here is more info from previous threads about ladders. Two more links inside this thread to look at.
