Depending how seatow recovered it would be the deciding factor on repair obviously. If they pumped the bow out, I would imagine the engines never went swimming. Surely all of the interior in the berth could need a good cleaning or replacement. But that doesnt equate to totaling it. Hopefully they didnt just raise the bow and flood those great engines with water. But you never know.

From pictures I saw, it looks like they were pumping out the bow.
I talked to Tom about repairing it, seems like the front third was under water depending on the tide. It’d be most worried about wiring and the exposed wood in the bow section. |
Ouch. Possibly could salvage the power, bolsters, and cockpit upholstery for someone to purchase if insurance company will allow him to buy it back at a fair price.

Sorry, man that sux! The boat, the dock, and I’m sure there’s more. Keep your chin up!!!

Glad to hear they were pumping out the bow. From that pic I would have thought it was salavageable. Keep us posted. Very sorry to hear about the damages to it and your property.

I think Sea Tow did the best they could pumped out the front Etc ... some of the issues I am seeing are that we had 30 in of rain which got on all the electrical switches and the helm Etc ... Plus every piece of Chrome and stainless is bent or busted ( windshield, bow rails, seats, grab holds...) and at least three major breaks in the deck /hull seam ( about 3 ft long each) and a hole at the transom/hull intersection. One drive is visibly damaged... and the electricals and motors are TBD.

Okay...I own the salvaged boat now.
Anyone interested in some motors that pushed the F311 to 78 mph gps with 4 blade 28P props? 500+ hp, 300 hour of fresh water and about 11.5 hours of salt water (Gulf of Mexico). New Latham stainless steel hoses and elbows, New Diamond Performance flushing kits (already installed) Bravo lube just flushed/replaced and new raw water impellers After Sally videos: |
Tom, are the hatches good? I’d like them if they’re available. Lower dash panels too. Text me please.
Thanks! TZ |
Interested in the Latham hydraulic steering setup if available. I'll send you a PM
