Default Bought a Bird, Formula 330SS

On a whim I just added a 1997 Formula 330SS to the fleet (also includes a Jefferson Marlago 35FS).

Is this the Palm Beach color scheme?

Its got Mercruiser 310hp MPIs with Bravo 3s. Topped it out at 55mph with 5 dudes, full tank and load! This is a couple ticks faster than the Marlago, which I suppose shouldn’t be surprising because the CC has Suzuki 4 stroke 250s. But I was still surprised!

Boat needs a compound job but otherwise looks like a million bucks!

It will be staying at LOTO for now and the Jefferson will stay in St Pete Beach permanently.

All I’ve done so far is bring the stereo into the 21st century with BT unit to replace the old Clarion. And a new sub amp and a couple of 12s. Port engine ran warm with the thermostat in so I just pulled it for now. I also hadn’t the rear seat redone and the boot cover zipper replaced.

It needs AC badly though.

If you see “Time of Your Life” out and about come holler at “Powerboat Keith aka Hogie Roll” so we can bull**** about boats.

PS I ripped the corner of the rub rail up a little this weekend kissing the corner of those **** docks at Backwater jacks. This seems to be a tradition for me now as I did something similar to the Jeff right after I got it.

Nice looking boat, congratulations!
Out of curiosity, where do you keep the Whisky and Vodka? Tucked up under the gunnel in the cockpit or stashed out of sight under the cushions in the forepeak?

Thank God. I was afraid those two fire extinguishers were more important than booze!

There were so many on the boat when I got it, I was worried the guy may have set it on fire before lol.

Congrats! 330 SS was on our short list when we sold out at Clinton this spring and moved boating down to LOTO full time. I'd toss on a set of drive showers. Those BIII's will thank you for it! Where are you slipped at?
