Some waves

Hit some waves last weekend

In the video it doesn’t look too bad but the body language says otherwise. I notice when I video in the rough stuff it just doesn’t show on the video. Looks like the boat handled it well.

Makes me want to go for a ride. Where were you boating?

Yeah, the video loses all sense of how rough it was. Easily 3-5 foot rollers. I'm very impressed with the hull. I can cruise on plane anywhere from 38 to 50 or waste some gas around 60. I do wish I had external steering, but I'll live with it until I can afford a newer one. (Hoping the 350 cross over w/outboards, when it's about 10yrs old, reaches a price point I can swing).

I came from a 1990 Chris Craft to this boat, and while in many ways the Chris Craft beat the Formula in amenities, the Formula is the right boat for rough water and the longer trips we wanted to use it for.

This was the Chesapeake bay around Baltimore. We had lunch at Donnelly's Dockside, then anchored at the Horse Farm for the day before heading back to Essex.

Cool video!

Bring her down to the lower part of the Bay and into the Atlantic... you’ll cry uncle long before the boat will!

Hoping to get out there this weekend myself. Just finished rebuilding the trailer.

May 1st we go from Essex, MD to Cape May, NJ. About 120 miles each way! Maybe we will go south next trip. I'd love to hit DC.
