Hell yeah. What engines?

triple yamaha 350

got a nice deal on the set up, you can find parts motors easily for them, and could tune them to 425 if needed.

hopefully upgrade them in the future but this is a good start.

i expect cruise 35 an top 50-55. I hope better. People i talked to that did this giving me simular numbers. One guy did his 34 PC with same power and did 35 and 60 (he claims) and that boat is 1000 lb lighter but worst hull design compared to mine.

im also pulling the generator to shave some weight.

496 boats ran that and 525 boats a little faster. With prop height dialed you may be able to do better. 350s are strong

At this rate the boat will be done right around the time your great great grandchidren are about 20 years old.
Did you start this in 2019!?

Dan the Douche strikes again! Still failing to be a man since long before 2019.

Pretty cool project! Why ditch the genni though? You still have the cabin and everything to run? I'd rather shave a few MPH and have the genni, maybe relocate it for weight distribution? Super cool though none the less, sorry if you mentioned why above and I missed it.

No. Started it October 2025.
I’m in Mass so with winter hitting, it really slows things down.

Genny was locked up and needed replacing. I never used it and if I were to use it, it would be for AC.
instead I am going to get a bank of batteries and run a inverter. Might go Lithium to really get the most of it.
basically without the gent, I have 1 less thing to deal with.

Got the cockpit grinder out to bear fiberglass. Have a little bit more cleaning up to do but also ready for template of the Coosa board.

going to put 5 knees tying from existing stringers to the transom. Also a shelf to connect the knees on a horizontal plane.

before the knees, going to lay a full sheet of 3/4” on the transom to flatten it out and beef it up a bit. I’ll tie in the sidewalls and deck with that 3/4” piece as well. This will make the transom close to 3” thick. After that, from the outside plug the holes.
the knees will be 3” wide (2-1.5” coosa). They will come out roughly 24” from the transom kind of a triangle shape.

hope to fiberglass probably February or March due to weather. Swim platform is coming from Armstrong, 100” custom, coming out 36” and 110” wide. That will
be finalized in 2 weeks and here by March.

I had to give them all the measurements. I was told bracket is done so I hope to get it on in April.

I finally getting some work done since the weather was nice yesterday.
Epoxy a 3/4” to the transom to make the back completely flat. This making the transom 3” thick. Also I am finalizing the size of the knees and going to get those in this week. For the knees I’m doing 5 total knees and they are 3” thick for the middle 3 and 1.5” thick on the outside ones.
