Formula 271 Sr1 Prop
 

Hi all

New to the site and looking for some info on correct prop for a 271 Im purchasing. It’s running a 21p 4 blade revolution. I have read some other threads on this but just want to open a new convo on this - any help and advice is appreciated!

Congrats on your new to you Bird.

What engine and rpm are you running at wot?

Boat has the 502 in it - I’m yet to drive the boat myself as we worked out a deal in November (pending water test) and it’s winter here in Ontario. The previous owner says it runs about 58mph wot depending on the load - but I’m not exactly sure on rpm - he also says it’s running 40mph around 4100 rpm.

If it's a normal 502 mpi (~415hp) that actually sounds good for cruise. Without knowing what rpm its topping out at, unfortunately we cant provide much feedback.
