370ss, Actual Length
I'm starting my search for 370 ss and I'm wondering if anyone knows the actual haul length, from transom to bow tip. This is very critical for me, our private club currently has a 36' Transom to bow allowance. I know model numbers do not always depict the length I'm looking for and I hope that someone can shed some light on this for me. Thank you in advance.

Google says 38' 6". Have you called formula ?

That's overall length.....with the platform(s), I'm looking for Transom (where the outdrives attach) to the bow (not including the overhang of the anchor).

If you can't find the exact measurement.....neither can they. It's probably 37ft but simply tell them it's 4 inches shorter than the maximum! (How would they know?)

I was hoping someone had one out of the water and could drop a plumb-bob off each end and measure. |
With the standard swim platform the 370SS is advertised as 37 feet even LOA from tip of bow to back of platform (38'6" with extended platform). There has to be at least 1.5 ft of overhang from transom to rear of standard platform so the measurement based on you're criteria will probably be somewhere between 35 and 36 feet.

Hi Vet, my 370 is still on the hard. In case you are not familiar with the 370 hull design, the keel ends 11" forward of the transom (see first pic). True LOA (to my understanding at least) is the running surface of the hull so this would end at the keel. Using a plumb bob I took three measurements from the bow (not the anchor which extends further), to the end of the keel (A) was about 34' 7", to the transom where the out drives attach (B) was about 35' 6" and to the end of the molded swim platform (C) (not the optional extended platform in '05) was about 37' 0". All measurements are give or take an inch or so.
