Hi, I’ve got a 1997 271 sr1 that I want to flush mount the GPS. I’m going to fit it in place of the speedo. Is there a water tube that needs to be plugged etc? And disconnecting the wires won’t affect anything? Just wanted to see what people had done as I’m going to do mine on the weekend and would like to know what I’m in for.

if there are jumper wires for the backlights make sure you keep the seiries going. Plug the pressure tube. Or remove entirely.
