New to me 292 fastech

Hello
Bought a 2003 a few weeks back.
So far - all good.
Some questions, however.
1. The drain on the floor of the engine compartment has a plug (hard to reach).
I assume that drain goes to the bilge and would exit through one of the three plugs
the lower transom?
2. In the engine compartment, there are two one and a half inch pvc pipes
ending in 90 degree elbows. They come through the bulkhead - what are they?
3. Boat will be lift kept during the season - I boat in brackish water so I flush the
motors and drives every time. Boat has 350 mags and bravo 1 drives.
Flushing with muffs on a liftkept boat is too difficult. I plan to install the aftermarket
Mercury flush kits. My question is - are the merc flush kits the right way to go or
are there better alternatives.
Thanks very much.
Any help much appreciated.

1. are you sure it's not the drain for the cabin? I have 3 plugs on the rear of the boat for drains. And in the engine bay there is one 'sideways' that comes from the front.
2. drains for something... I don't know specifically what.
3. I have the perko ones and they work fine for me.

I have a 2001 - 292 w/350s and Bravo 1s

Thanks for the reply.
I was able to find out that the pvc pipe
drains the battery tubs.
