What's a fast good 80s to mid ,90s formula over 30ft

I had f302 how do some of the others ride and best speed like 311, 357, etc over 30ft

353 is the Cadillac of Fastechs IMO....You are going to need some pretty strong HP to get a 353 into the 90's. We had 675HP per side and ran 92-93MPH with extension boxes, XR drives (1.50 ratio) and sportmaster -2 lowers...... trust me when i tell you it was very light load and just that right amount of chop to get the boat rolling..... We ran 88-90MPH any day of the week. APEX WARRIOR is running 525's with whipples and he's at 97MPH.....Get ready to break things....LMAO.

I had a 2002 382 that ran mid 90' on Bravos.....830hp per side (best ever of 98).

Later with 630hp per side it would run low-mid 80's any day.

I didn't clarify.. 1980s to early 1990s formula sr

I'm sorry guys I meant 1980s and early 1990s formulas over 30ft. If you could put some hp behind it what sr models Thunderbird would you choose

Search for a kaama surface drive boat. Any bravo or TRS boat will have problems with big power.

My 1990 357 with stock 420s and 21P runs low 60’s. My 1988 292SR1 with mild 454’s ran mid 70’s with 26P. My 223LS ran low 70’s with a built a built 454 and 24P. None of the late 80-early 90 Formulas were speed demons, that was the trade off for the better ride and more timeless fit and finish.

That would have been my guess.

Different boats.

Personally, I prefer the classics.
