water Pressure sender

My sender is going out in my 2013. I read where there is a retro kit to place the sender away from the exchanger so no water comes in contact with it. But can't remember where. Has anyone heard of it and possible Pt #

Thanks

Don't understand why the sender can not get wet, but interested if this does help it from failing

That's the idea. The piss hole gets plugged up is my understanding.

Haven't heard that before. Many have removed and cleaned but still didn't work, or at least that's my understanding. Over on Iboats there has been a lot of discussion on these things. May have thought about getting some resistors to fool the ECM, but none have come back with the fix. Have the specs

My understanding is there is a hose, male/female threaded pipe fittings ends that you screw into the exchanger/sender and an elect plug/play. Sender gets mounted higher than exchanger. But I can't remember where I saw it

Are the threads for the sender 1/8” npt by any chance ?

AllDodge 10-26-2020 01:35 PM

Threads are 1/8 NPT

I’d put a filter in between if room.
worth a shot ?

Something like this that has 1/8not male one side and 1/8 npt female other

1/8" pipe, yes thank you. I just might get a local, Amazon Hose, to make up hoses and lay it up on the engines if the wiring will reach. Again I thought a kit was available.

I would think salt water would eat at the filter.
