bow roller on a 292

Anyone thought about a bow roller on a 292? I'm not dealing w/the hassle of a power windlass, I just want to not have to deal w/the "anchor locker" on the front of the 292.
I think it's problematic given the 4' chop I like to run in at 45mph... will this thing hold?

I plan to bolt it down with starboard on the bottom with huge bolts and washers.

Will it hold a small sand anchor? I don't want a 12lb projectile coming towards us at 40 mph bouncing off the deck.

I've blown the boat budget for winter 2020 on new steering, so this is research for winter 2021.

almost all the new boats come with these in place, so I assume they have to hold...

The best suggestion I can make for you is to buy a Box Anchor, and keep it under the rear seat. Anything you fabricate up there would be awkward, unattractive, and potentially dangerous.

A bow roller on a FT 292 would be a travesty. What you want to do is install anchor chocks inside the locker similar to what this guy did: Anchor chocks
