1986 242 LS Glass

Hello,

I just bought a twin engine 242, the boat had the windshield removed. I would like to have the low profile black SR-1 style windshield built for the boat. Anyone know of a company up to the task? I need to recreate the black plexiglass slide panels for the cockpit storage areas. Anyone have photos and dimensions for those parts?

Greatly Appreciated,

Greatly Appreciated,

A wrap around custom probably would cost more than you paid for the boat

I would give Taylor Made a call. They are super cool and can probably lead you in the right direction. They surely have a contact in your area that they are providing materials.

Congrats on the 242, are you referring to the older flat glass windshield? This may be easy to fabricate. The late 80’s windshields would be a bit more to accomplish due to the curvature of the glass.

Do you have any pictures of the boat?

I do have photos but need ten posts. It’s the boat from Green Bay, the boat has been discussed on the forum previously. 355’s with external steering and tie rod, bravo drives, aftermarket rear seat and hatch.
