This was actually in my 206 single. I 5200'ed a small piece of plywood to the fuel tank bulkhead, sealed and painted it and mounted to pump to that Id say halfway down the height of it. That was over 10 years ago and has never been a problem

I know it is a completely different animal but my 223LS had an electric pump mounted on the bulkhead above the tank, on the opposite side of the bench seat back. I never had an issue with it when I was running but it was slightly inconvenient when I would need to get into the engine bay. I like the sounds of Mr Maine's setup. |
I’m mounting the pumps to the cool fuel brackets. I figure if it worked for Merc, it’ll work for me. It ends up being a siphon feed to the pump from the water separator. It should work well. I’ll run it with a return to the tank... my tank has bungs for pump return so I’m going to use them.
