Thanks so very much for your reply and suggestions. With the 21 SS the 454 according to the boat tach tops out at around 4100 RPM. I am leaning toward the 19 prop. There have been several posts suggesting the Revolution Prop would be a good purchase. I'm wondering if any other manufacturers may be a little less expensive than the Revolution series? Being new to the I/O world what role does the diameter play in prop selection. Thanks for the suggestion on the drive shower and Amsoil gear lube. I just think the 242 would be a little quicker getting on plane.
My many thanks again for the information. We are planning a two day trip this week to the "Big Lake" Hopefully you are still enjoying the Big Lake. Currently, out boat is in valet storage with Paugus Bay Marina.. Tony S |
