Nice looking boat. How do you like the elevator lift?

The elevator lift was a compromise. When it was installed, both the contractor and I wanted to do a 4-post, but there's a lot of coquina off my seawall, and the contractor at the time did not have a barge / drill rig that could get under the bridge at the end of my canal. The elevator lift solved the problem. Once a year or so I have to get in the canal and "dredge" some bottom sand out of the way where the cradle arms go down. Otherwise in times of low water levels, the lift bottoms out and the cables slacken before the boat is floating. Some of that may be the sheer size/capacity of the lift, it was sized at 16K lbs for my Cig Cafe Racer originally. I also would rather I didn't have aluminum in this warm salty water 24/7. I keep a close watch on my anodes but I still am uneasy about all that metal and salt playing together. Other than that, it works fine, remote control is nice, it's very stable. |

It's an early Dominator, so no steps, but a small pad. Supposed to be good for high 70s but I haven't tried yet.
Upper 70s is scooting pretty good for stock black motors. |
There is a nice looking 1989 311 on Cleveland Craigslist.

My friend bought it from Erie and had it for a few years but only used it a couple times because he was afraid to maneuver around other boats, it was his first time owning a boat.He sold it to me but I have a 36pc and a 357 so we don't use it much.Thats why it's for sale.

No, I had purchased it in Lake George in 2001, from a gentleman who said that he had owned it for 3 years at that time, so I believe that I was the 3rd owner. When I sold it in 2009, it was headed to Erie, PA.
