Formula 370ss - Salt water to fresh
 

Hello. I’m looking at a few newer to me (2015+) Formula 370ss’ in the Great Lakes area which were originally run in salt water (Florida & east coast) for the first 2-5 years. There is some minor oxidation on the hardware, but otherwise look to be well maintained. I run in fresh water only and my past 3 (not Formula) boats have been fresh water no corrosion issues, so not sure what to expect with these Formulas.

I’m looking for opinions from your experience with buying previous salt water Formulas. For instance, given Formula’s quality and aside from potential manifold & exhaust corrosion, will there be more electrical gremlins or other issues from exposure to the prior salt water environment.
