Formula 370ss w 520 opinions
 

Hi. I’m in the market for a 370ss and have come across a couple with 520s and Bravo 3 XR drives with the X-haust system. My previous Fountain had 525s with XR drives, so I’m familiar with the extra maintenance involved with blue engines.

I’m looking for opinions from those who have owned or ridden in one. How was the performance and engine noise compared to a standard 8.2 HO with hub (not through hull) exhaust? How did the drives hold up compared to a Bravo 3 X on the 8.2 HO boat? What was your opinion on anything else with this package vs an 8.2 HO boat?

I hope to pick one up (520 or 8.2) for this season.

I friend of mine ordered a new one in 2017 and absolutely loved it. No specifics outside of loving the boat, but in the end he did trade it in for a Formula Yacht.
