1990 242lLS W/540
 

Thought I would throw some info out there....

I repowered my Formula with a 540/565 hp motor...
All the good stuff, roller set up, 688lbs of torque at 3200 rpm..
This motor really woke up the boat.
Just put hydralic steering on it. This 242 moves out...
Anybody need info on this...drop me a note. Spring is just around my corner.

Should be one kick a$$ boat:cool: My 540 Ford in a FourWinns Liberator was awesome and to look at the two hulls there isn't much difference.

Usually boat at mouth of Ct. River and head over to Greenport LI, Montauk, and Block Island. Sometimes Watch Hill and over to Charleston Beach RI. Usually catch me at Claudio's Rest on a Sunday. Pictures are on the way. Just got a digital camera so just trying to figure it out.

I am running a 850Holley, EMI ported with Bravo 4" exaust, K&N filter system, Performer RPM with either a lab Bravo 24 or Bravo 26. Depends on my attitude for the day. Also run Merlin VR heads.

Good numbers
Cruse at 3200 all day long.
24p @ 5100 = 69gps
26p @ 5100= 74 gps

Half tank of fuel and no riders....

Oh, by the way... it is for Sale. Looking for a new project.
