Bob-T, sorry to hear that. The 312 I had was a great first twin engine boat. To learn in the water issues and trailering heavier loads, etc. Good luck on your search!

Bob, was the 312 in NC?

bob_t 03-30-2003 09:10 AM

Yes it was in NC. It's been on traderonline for just about 1 year, now. Didn't know how they perform with the 6.2's and from the comments, I'm OK that they weren't interested in persuing a sale to me! I had another dealer offer me a freshwater (Ohio boat) 2000 32 Fever w/502's, 100 hours (if I remember right), on an Eagle painted trailer, for $50K and our boat. Dealer said it was "spotless"! That's a little more than I want to put into a 32 Fever - I know of a couple of local 35's with 500's for about $10K more, and if I was going to spend that amount of money, I'd just add the 10K and go for the 35 with 500's :D

I met the salesman for that boat at the Miami show.

I know of a new 292 in Cincinnati. I think it is a 2001. Never sold or titled. Mitch @ Captions Cove 513-321-1111 ext 366. He may also have a 312.

Good people to work with.

What’s up with these speeds??????? My 2000 312 454 mags ran 78 out of the box…..

Thanks for the info. I'll give Captain's Cove a call, but their prices are usually way above any "reasonable" market value. I'm in Cincinnati, and they are quite well known for their unrealistic prices on performance boats!

You got that right!!!! They will not work with you on a price with performance boats!!!! However, they are great people. I bought a Sea Ray from them.

Mack312 04-16-2003 05:40 PM

We shopped the hell out of them and Mitch came thru!
